What is QTP?

QTP (Quick Test Professional) is a tool  for testing the functionality of a software in an automated process. As soon the script is developed, software tester can seamlessly perform this automated functionality testing and generate the report. The expected result and actual result is compared and described in the reports generated during QTP testing. QTP uses Visual Basic scripting to automate the testing process effectively.
